LS Engineering Services recently completed the retrofit replacment of 3 ACB’s on the Barque platform.
This work involved the removal of existing ABB Novomax ACB’s, rework of the switchboard to incorporate the new ABB Sace Emax ACB and then installation and testing of the newly installed circuit breaker.
Function, intertrip and protection testing were all undertaken as part of the commissioning process.
This work was undertaken in three stages as per the clients request so as to reduce production disruption.
